Marketing & Creative Assistant

AMF is an independent music company and creative source helping exceptional artists find and communicate their vision.
We are looking for a passionate, driven music lover with great taste, preferably (but not essential) with experience working in the music industry, to join our small core label team as a marketing & creative assistant to help deliver innovative, memorable artist campaigns. We intend for you to develop the role into running campaigns independently with our support.
The ideal person would be obsessed with music, a regular gig-goer, have an eye for detail, photoshop skills, exceptional organisational skills, be brimming with creative ideas, great at talking to artists and able to multitask.

The Role
• Work closely alongside our Marketing Director, helping communicate with the wider team, managers and artists including engaging regular artist updates
• Support creative team in brainstorming, reference digging and logistics for artist shoots
• Maintain and update all label socials, website and marketing databases where needed
• Schedule digital / physical releases & videos with distributor including updating ingestion sheets and sales notes with new info
• Join and contribute to creative meetings, alongside label and help deliver creative assets
• Update campaign timelines and regularly share in the moment new information with wider team
• Provide administrative support to the label such as ordering of stock and maintenance of label dropbox and assets
• Help Marketing Director strategise and optimise ad campaigns per release, analysing best posts and providing links for boosting
• Work alongside Digital team in executing ideas and join weekly digital calls, staying across social media trends to provide bespoke references to artists
• Book travel for artists, accompany them at video/content shoots & events and oversee content capture for socials
• Help brainstorm unique events & moments to make each release special, help in the set up of launch events
• Ensure videos are delivered in correct spec & arrange cutdowns from assets with our designers
• Join weekly label calls and execute tasks

Who We’re Looking For
• You have ideally had some experience working within the music industry with artists and managers, if not you are confident and comfortable working and communicating with artists respectfully and professionally
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to juggle several campaigns at once and communicate workload so we can support
• Strong creative ideas & ability to use initiative to follow through to completion
• Can analyse data and communicate in an engaging way
• Knowledge of and passion for the artists on the roster
• Interest in and understanding of different social media platforms and best practices
• Great communication skills
